When choosing is not easy
Having friends is easy, but having someone you can count on in good and bad times is not easy.
I found two friends and if I had to choose one to be my best I will take both. “Janee and Lea”
I knew Janee at bluffton before I met Jonas, I was alone and having difficult situations when God sending to me this Angel “Janee” to console me and give me back the strength to live.
Lea got to know Jonas at work and we have become friends ever since. she is a woman of prayer and I believe her words of blessings pursue us as much as she wants us to be successful in our lives. she was the first to have prayed for our house when we bought it and she never forgot us in her prayers. Now, I have to choose one of my best friend, as a mother to be at my side during my wedding day. do you think I was going to choose one of them? no, both are precious, I chose both
Pastor Lea Philippe
Lea Philippe is the first of seven children and she is the mother of two beautiful young adult daughters. She is also the grandmother of two boys, the love of her life.
Lea is best known for her warmth and genuine love for people. She also has a passion for Outreach ministry, and is an ordained missionary, vowing to GO where God wants her to GO!
Lea has done hands-on ministry in local, national, and international locations. She has traveled to Nigeria, West Africa to do ministry and missions work, and God has blessed her to complete three mission tours in Haiti, where she was born. In 2014, she spent two months in Kenya, working with orphans, widows, and AIDS victims.
Lea’s life mission is to present Christ to everyone who crosses her path, even if it is with a simple smile while pointing them to Jesus, who is the answer to their problems.
On August 7, 2021, Lea was Ordained and Installed as Lead Pastor of ALIVE Christian Center in Marietta. She is amazed by God’s perfect timing of this call to serve in this Season. During a Pandemic, God hand-picked supporters from near and far to attend the Ordination service. God showed up and showed out.
Lea met the beautiful couple to be wed during one of her Chaplaincy visits to the worksite where Baby Jonas was working. She fell in love with his heart and desire for God. She then visited the couple and family at their home and had them over her house for dinner. A beautiful friendship begun between her family and theirs.
Lea finds comfort, strength, and direction from the Word of God. Her key scriptures are:
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
“I have set the Lord always before me. Because He’s at my right hand, I shall not be moved” (Psalm 16:8); and “I foresaw the Lord always before my face. For He is on my right hand that I should not be moved” (Acts 2:25).
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5).
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you” (John 15:16).
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me” (Isaiah 6:8).
Janee Nussbaum
My name is Janee Nussbaum. I have been married to Todd for 22 years. We have three children and a daughter-in-law and just found out that we are going to be grandparents in June. I met Dieuseline four years ago. She and Chris and her sweet mom quickly became family to our family. It wasn’t long before she told me she had met someone. Much like Dieuseline, Jonas became like family also. And then sweet Baby Lens joined the family. Our family was heartbroken when they decided to move from Indiana. I am so thankful we have been intentional about staying in touch. We look forward to celebrating your marriage soon!
